Use this method to prepare the white soft daily use bread

  1. Proof the yeast by putting the salt sugar yeast and water in a bowl for about 5mins
  2. Mix flour and butter. Keep mixing until the dough gathers itself into a ball and pulls away cleanly from the sides of the bowl. Knead until it can be stretched thin.
  3. Let it rise until double the size about 30mins.
  4. Beat it down, split into two bread tray. Let it rise again until about double the size.
  5. Bake at 175 deg C for 40-45 mins until it’s puffy golden and light.
