Use this method to prepare the white soft daily use bread
- Proof the yeast by putting the salt sugar yeast and water in a bowl for about 5mins
- Mix flour and butter. Keep mixing until the dough gathers itself into a ball and pulls away cleanly from the sides of the bowl. Knead until it can be stretched thin.
- Let it rise until double the size about 30mins.
- Beat it down, split into two bread tray. Let it rise again until about double the size.
- Bake at 175 deg C for 40-45 mins until it’s puffy golden and light.
